Luci Garza is in her second year pursuing a journalism degree at George Washington University. Originally from Austin, Texas, she blends her Southern charm with a passion for storytelling, striving to amplify voices and share untold stories. Luci has been practicing journalism since she was 14, working with various publications, in Texas, Washington, DC, and New York. Currently, she is working on a data journalism-based story highlighting the growing trend of religious homicides in Mexico.
